To protect the steel from environmental pollution, voestalpine iFIX products receive an additional coating. Thanks to this high-quality coating, iFIX offers excellent corrosion protection and can optimally meet the high corrosivity requirements for PV substructures. 

• Zinc-magnesium coating ZM310 for corrosion protection in accordance with DIN 55634-1:2018-03.
• Ideal for use in environments up to corrosivity category C3 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944-2:1998-07

ENERGY CONSUMPTION

As everything is manufactured using a single state-of-the-art, energy-efficient machine, energy consumption during production is minimized. In addition, our internally sourced prematerial has a minimized carbon footprint.

TRANSPORT

The stackable parts require less storage space, reducing warehousing expenses and significantly lowering the number of necessary truck runs. Fewer trucks on the roads generate fewer CO2 emissions. By producing at our centrally located German site, we also minimize the length of our delivery routes.

MATERIAL CONSUMPTION

The amount of material used in iFIX products has been reduced to an absolute minimum. The iFIX part also comes with all the necessary assembly and fixing elements, further minimizing material consumption. Other benefits: no waste material is generated on the roof as the part does not need to be cut to size. And the steel is highly recyclable.

YIELD

We offer iFIX PV substructures for both south and east-west facing roofs, to cover the greatest possible number of roofs: make the most of your available roof area and maximize your solar power generation. iFIX can also be used with soft insulation material, making more roof area usable for power generation.
